Our Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing The Bookshelf.
In using The Bookshelf website, and by purchasing The Bookshelf products, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use outlined below. Throughout this document, the term ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to The Bookshelf, and as such, represents the views of the business in their entirety.
Please take the time to read this information before ordering, particularly the Important Specific Conditions below.
Important Specific Conditions:
We provide 100% guarantee that any damaged or undelivered products will be immediately replaced. To avoid sending out a duplicate book we send an email out to recipients each month to double check they have not already read/own the book. It is the recipients responsibility to check and reply to this email and we will not replace books on the basis that the recipient already owns/has read the publication if they do not respond to the email (unless in exceptional circumstances). We also do our very best to ensure the book chosen matches the recipients requirements via questions on the website and by emailing all Book Subscription Package subscribers once they have signed up to double check their preferences and provide more detail. If the book chosen does not reflect these, please let us know and we can try our very best to resolve the matter for the next subscription timing e.g. next week/month depending on subscription.
We reserve the right to remove any of our product range from sale at any given time without providing public notice of our intention.
We reserve the right to cancel any ongoing agreement that we may have with you (for instance before/during a 3, 6 or 12 month Book Club gift package), and will provide full reimbursement of the remaining balance should we decide to do so.
Where we are unable to source books based on the preferences and information provided by you, we reserve the right to select a suitable alternative.
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your first delivery from The Bookshelf, in which instance we will provide you with a full refund and details on how to return your goods to us.
